gland and potentially slowing or blocking the urine stream. It mainly affects the quality of life of the patient. Etiological
factors include age, environmental factors, oxidative stress, tissue remodelling, inflammation, metabolic symptoms and
hormonal factors. Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms include hesitancy, intermittency, straining, and dubbling and decreased
caliber of urine stream.
